1. Professional Value For Money
Skiforce places the highest emphasis on safety. We carry out thorough risk assessments in each country in which we consider all the potential dangers and hazards that we may encounter in our remote environments. We also abide by the governing guidelines of the Year Out Group (YOG) and the Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) and use BSi8848 to ensure preventative measures in the field. Furthermore, our staff are required to have Satellite Phones so that, in case of a serious incident, there will be an immediate evacuation. The evacuation plans are carefully thought through and we utilise our relationships in country with local military and medical assistance teams.

The package we offer our qualified instructors is as follows:
- Coach transport to the Italian Alps.

Lessons tend to be between 10am and 3pm Mon-Sat so instructors get time to free ski before and after lessons. Groups tend to be of beginner standard and are generally students of secondary school age (though occasionally primary).
There is a fantastic support infrastructure in place to ensure that all instructors know that they are doing and any newly qualified instructors don’t get too nervous! Each resort has a Snowsports Co-ordinator (who will manage the instructors) and an Assistant (who looks after them). The week starts with a meeting on a Sunday evening to ensure that everyone understands how the week will run, guidebooks and lesson ‘cheat cards’ are also provided. On Monday morning there is a resort orientation for all instructors who have not taught in resort before and each morning of the week there is a brief morning meeting where instructors will find out any changes to groups, as well as anything effecting their stay in resort (dinner times, departure information etc).
2. UK Staff
Skiforce’s employ UK staff. This highlights our emphasis on safety and security. These experienced members of our team form the platform for the expeditions and help the participants adjust to the new surroundings. Our staff responsibilities include airport pick up, food purchases, regular check ups, liaising with local contacts etc.
3. Qualifications
Skiforce provides you with international recognized qualifications. A Skiforce instructor programme is the professional choice.
First of all, Gapforce is an accredited Sports Leaders UK instructing centre.
Skiforce is an associate of the British Association of Snowsport Instructors (BASI). We also include the opportunity to take the BASI downhill speed test during the Level 2 BASI course. This is a requirement for teaching in Italy and France.
Skiforce is also part of Snow Sport England – the National Governing Body of English Snow Sports.
